In test systems, vehicles, and production machinery, there is a need for torque measurement. Accurately and with high frequency measuring the applied forces and torques, as well as measuring and calculating the resulting stresses and deformations on the system, is important. In many applications, torque is used to directly measure the generated power. In some fatigue and life tests, applying torque with high precision and at as high a frequency as possible, without exceeding limits, is possible with a healthy torque feedback to the control system.
